Brandon Davis Named Allstar Performance Allstar of the Month for August

1176 9/1/2026 USMTS - United States Modified Touring Series Brandon Davis Named Allstar Performance Allstar of the Month for August HAYFIELD, Minn. (September 1, 2026) — Brandon Davis of Hayfield, Minnesota, has been named the Allstar Performance Allstar of the Month for August following one of the few dominant stretches of racing in the history of the Summit Racing Equipment United States Modified Touring Series presented by RacinDirt. Winning a single USMTS main event is a major accomplishment against the toughest Modified drivers in the country. Winning six consecutive USMTS main events is an extraordinary achievement, but that is exactly what Davis and his No. 50III team accomplished during a remarkable run through Minnesota, Missouri and Texas. Davis collected six straight victories before his winning streak was ended by Jim Chisholm during the final night of the 13th Annual Topless Amarillo Ambush at the Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas. The incredible streak began at the Ogilvie Raceway in Ogilvie, Minnesota, where Davis captured his first USMTS victory of the 2026 season. That win proved to be the start of something special as Davis and his team found the winning combination and carried their momentum through the remainder of the summer. Davis returned to victory lane the following night at the Granite City Motor Park in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. Back-to-back wins against the deep and talented USMTS field immediately put the rest of the competition on notice, but the driver of the No. 50III was only getting started. The tour then traveled to the Nevada Speedway in Nevada, Missouri, where Davis continued his incredible run. Despite visiting another challenging racetrack and facing another strong field of competitors, Davis once again rose to the occasion and claimed his third consecutive USMTS main event victory. With three straight wins already to his credit, Davis and his team traveled to the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri, for the 17th Annual Slick Mist Show-Me Shootout. The state-of-the-art facility is one of the most challenging stops on the USMTS schedule and has produced memorable battles throughout the history of the series. Davis was nearly flawless throughout the weekend. He captured the opening-night main event and then returned to victory lane again on the second night, completing a sweep of the 17th Annual Slick Mist Show-Me Shootout. The two victories at Lucas Oil Speedway extended his winning streak to five consecutive USMTS main events. Five straight wins would have been enough to make August an unforgettable month, but Davis was not finished. The next stop took the USMTS stars more than 600 miles southwest to the Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas, for the 13th Annual Topless Amarillo Ambush. The unique topless event presented another completely different challenge for the competitors, but neither the long trip nor the change in racing conditions slowed Davis and the No. 50III team. Davis continued his winning ways during the opening night in Amarillo, racing to his sixth consecutive USMTS victory and adding another impressive accomplishment to an already remarkable season. His bid for seven straight victories came to an end on the final night of the Topless Amarillo Ambush when Jim Chisholm reached victory lane. Although the streak was over, Davis and his team had already put together one of the more impressive stretches of racing on the USMTS tour. During the streak, Davis won at five different racetracks in four cities and three states. He conquered the Ogilvie Raceway, Granite City Motor Park, Nevada Speedway, Lucas Oil Speedway and Route 66 Motor Speedway. The six victories included two complete event sweeps and came against many of the best Modified drivers in America. BD also collected an off-night victory in the Edelbrock USRA Stock Car Division as well at the Mississippi Thunder Speedway. Davis hopped in the #88 machine normally driven by Jim Chisholm and picked up the victory. For his incredible six-race winning streak and outstanding performance throughout August, Davis will receive a $275 product certificate courtesy of Allstar Performance. Allstar Performance has been a longtime supporter of racers and race teams across the country. Through the Allstar Performance Allstar of the Month program, the company recognizes USMTS/USRA competitors who produce outstanding performances and memorable accomplishments on the racetrack. Davis’ six consecutive victories made him the clear choice for the August honor. The winning streak also strengthened Davis’ position at the top of the USMTS National Championship standings. He continues to lead the points as the 2026 season moves toward one of its biggest and most prestigious events. Davis and the rest of the USMTS stars will now prepare for the 28th Annual Featherlite Trailers Fall Jamboree at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota. The championship battle is far from over, and the competition will be looking to close the gap. However, Davis has established himself as the driver to beat as the tour heads toward the final stretch of the 2026 campaign. Congratulations to Brandon Davis, his family, crew and the entire No. 50III team on being named the Allstar Performance Allstar of the Month for August and on an unforgettable six-race winning streak with the Summit Racing Equipment United States Modified Touring Series presented by RacinDirt.
