Contingency Plan Announced for POWRi / NOW600 Triple Crown Weekend at Port City Raceway!

BELLEVILLE, Ill. (October 12, 2026) – While the green light remains on for this weekend’s POWRi / NOW600 RaceTech Titanium $uper $eries Triple Crown at Port City Raceway in Tulsa, Oklahoma, series officials have announced a contingency plan should Mother Nature interfere with the scheduled three-day event. With the possibility of inclement weather in the forecast, officials are prepared to adjust the weekend schedule to ensure competitors and fans still get a full weekend of racing action. Should Thursday’s program be washed out, the Triple Crown will shift to a two-day Friday-Saturday format, with modifications to the previously announced race procedures. Under the contingency plan, all four divisions will compete on both Friday and Saturday. The Non-Wing and A-Class Micros will continue to utilize the previously announced split-group format, with adjustments made to accommodate the condensed two-day schedule. The Restricted Micros and Junior Sprints will continue to compete under their regularly scheduled race formats, with full programs contested each night. As of Monday, October 12, the event remains on schedule as originally planned. The contingency plan will only be implemented if Thursday’s racing program is canceled due to weather. Series officials will continue monitoring weather conditions throughout the week and will provide updates regarding any potential schedule or format changes. Competitors, teams, and fans are encouraged to stay tuned to the official POWRi and NOW600 social media platforms for the latest announcements. Additional information and updates can also be found online at www.powri.com and www.now600series.com.
