Love Moto Stop Cancer Initiative Brings Support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to Loretta Lynn’s with Lap-a-Thon Fundraiser
Starting today, athletes can sign up to join the Love Moto Stop Cancer initiative and become a St. Jude fundraiser. Participants will be provided with campaign tools to have donors sponsor the number of laps they complete during the Loretta Lynn’s Lap-a-Thon. Each athlete that signs on to become a fundraiser will be given a St. Jude sticker that will be affixed to their official Loretta Lynn’s number plate to signify they are racing for a bigger purpose – the St. Jude Mission: Finding Cures. Saving Children.
A decade into its partnership with St. Jude, the SMX League has raised more than 3.5M for the hospital through various annual fundraising campaigns, which includes the Love Moto Stop Cancer text-to-donate t-shirt campaign, the Love Moto Stop Cancer Race, the St. Jude Supercross online auction, Ken Roczen’s Kickstart for A Cause Bike Giveaway Sweepstakes, and the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Love Moto Stop Cancer Golf Tournament benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

About the Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship
The Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMSOIL is the world's largest and most prestigious amateur motocross racing program. The national qualifying program will consist of over 50 Area Qualifiers (February through May) and 13 Regional Championships (May through June), hosted at select motocross facilities across the country. The qualifying system culminates in the National Final (first week in August) hosted annually since 1982 at the home of country music star Loretta Lynn in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. Christened "The World's Greatest Motocross Vacation", the National event serves as a launch pad for some of the biggest names in professional motocross and supercross, including Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart, Ryan Villopoto, and Ryan Dungey. The national program is produced by MX Sports, Inc., a West Virginia-based race production company and is sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA).
