POWRi/NOW600 Sweet Springs Stampede Canceled Due to Inclement Weather

Belleville, IL. (9/23/26) – The POWRi/NOW600 RaceTech Titanium $uper $eries Sweet Springs Stampede has been canceled due to an unfavorable weather forecast expected to impact Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex throughout the scheduled September 24–26 event weekend. The decision does not come lightly. With the high price of fuel and the traveling teams in mind, the forecast does not provide enough confidence that the scheduled program can be completed. POWRi nor NOW600 wants to ask teams to make the trip, spend the money, and commit the time and resources to an event without confidence that the weekend can be completed. All pre-registrations, tickets, and pit passes purchased through MyRacePass will be fully refunded to the original method of payment early next week. The Sweet Springs Stampede was scheduled as the fifth of six marquee events on the 2026 POWRi/NOW600 RaceTech Titanium $uper $eries schedule, with Junior Sprints, Restricted Micros, Stock Non-Wing Micros, and Winged A-Class Micros slated for competition Friday and Saturday. POWRi appreciates the continued support of Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex, series teams, officials, sponsors, and fans as the 2026 $uper $eries season moves toward its conclusion with the Triple Crown Finale at Port City Raceway on October 14–17. Additional information regarding any changes to the series schedule will be released once confirmed. All POWRi/NOW600 RaceTech Titanium $uper $eries events will be streamed live on Start2Finish TV.
